The District of Fürstenfeldbruck at a glance

Compensation in the district

Typical measures in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck

💧

Species diversity

Protected species in the Amper-Region westlich von München

🌾

skylark

About this species ›
🐦

northern lapwing

About this species ›
🦎

sand lizard

About this species ›
🐸

Amphibien (European tree frog, great crested newt)

About this species ›
🦇

bats

About this species ›
🐟

kingfisher

Breeds at near-natural sections of the Amper and Maisach. Restoration of watercourses, steep banks and the preservation of wooded banks combine aquatic ecology with species protection.

Typical projects

Which projects trigger a compensation obligation?

🛣️

Road expansion

Projects such as the expansion of the heavily used Federal Road 471 between Fürstenfeldbruck and the motorway junction generate substantial compensation requirements for land sealing and fragmentation.

🏭

Commercial and industrial land

The medium-sized industry in the east of the district and new commercial areas in the vicinity of Munich regularly trigger impacts on soil and open land.

🏘️

Residential and settlement development

The high population influx in the concentrated area around Munich leads to extensive residential construction, whose compensation must be secured via development plans and eco-accounts.

☀️

Freestanding photovoltaics

Solar parks on conversion and open land, for example on parts of the former airfield, require nature conservation assessment and area-related compensation.

Frequently asked questions

All about eco-points
in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck

The district is located in the transition between two BfN major regions. The eastern part belongs to the Munich Shale Plain within major region D65 (Lower Bavarian Hilly Country and Isar-Inn Shale Plains), the southern and central part to the pre-Alpine hilly and moorland (D66) with the Ammer-Loisach Hilly Country and the Fürstenfeldbruck Old Moraine Hilly Country. For compensation, the natural region classification of the impact location is decisive, as compensation according to BayKompV should take place in the same natural region where possible.
The prices for eco-points depend on location, type of measure, availability and contract terms. The assessment is carried out according to the Bavarian Compensation Regulation (BayKompV). greeNature provides you with a transparent, individualised offer based on your specific compensation requirements. Please contact us for a non-binding price enquiry.
The Lower Nature Conservation Authority (Untere Naturschutzbehörde) at the District Office Fürstenfeldbruck, Münchner Straße 32, 82256 Fürstenfeldbruck is responsible. It reviews impact and compensation balances, recognises eco-accounts and oversees implementation. greeNature coordinates measures and evidence directly with the authority.
Yes. In the vicinity of the FFH and bird protection areas on the Amper and Ampermoos, FFH compatibility assessments and, where significant impacts are present, coherence assurance measures (FCS) under § 45 Abs. 7 BNatSchG may be required. greeNature assesses species protection and habitat protection requirements early on and plans the necessary measures.
Common are rewetting and extensification in the moorland and floodplain areas of Ampertal and Haspelmoor, restoration of the Amper and Maisach, grassland extensification in the hilly country, the creation of hedgerows and field woodlands for habitat networking, as well as species protection measures for skylark, northern lapwing and sand lizard.
Compensation measures must be permanently secured and maintained. Securing typically takes place in rem (for example via easement) as well as through permanent management. As a full-service partner, greeNature takes on the legal securing, monitoring and long-term maintenance.
