greeNature is continually looking for agricultural land suitable for compensation measures under nature conservation law. Make your land available to us and secure its economic and ecological value, today and for generations to come.

Together with you, we develop an individual concept that turns the land you have used until now into valuable habitat, for example species-rich grassland, traditional orchards or forest afforestation. Implementation takes place in close coordination with you and your wishes. The land then serves as compensation areas for building and infrastructure projects.

How landowners benefit

If you own agricultural or forestry land, you can make it available as compensation areas and thereby benefit financially while also making a valuable contribution to nature and species conservation. With greeNature, you have two options.

Remain the owner and make your land available

Would you like to keep your land but still benefit from it? Then offer it to greeNature for use as a compensation area and remain the owner. Together, we agree which compensation measures make sense on your land, for example:

  • Conversion to species-rich grassland, creation of traditional orchards
  • New afforestation and forest conversion measures
  • Production-integrated species protection measures
  • Other ecological upgrades

greeNature then takes care of everything else, from planning through implementation to long-term management. You receive an attractive one-off usage compensation payment, have no extra effort and no costs, and can continue to use the land within the scope of the agreed measures.

Sell your land

Would you rather give up your land permanently? Then, following a suitability assessment, we will buy it. Land that has so far been used intensively for agriculture and therefore has low ecological value is particularly well suited. We can specifically turn such land into ecologically valuable habitat.

Good to know

No. You decide for yourself whether you want to sell your land or remain the owner. If you wish to remain the owner, we jointly conclude an individually agreed permission agreement (Gestattungsvertrag). This sets out which compensation measures greeNature implements on your land. You remain the owner, receive a fair usage compensation payment, and can continue to use the land within the scope of the agreed measures.
Land that is intensively farmed and currently has low ecological value is particularly suitable, since it can be ecologically upgraded through measures such as traditional orchards, extensively managed grassland or new afforestation. Fallow arable land, formerly sealed or partially sealed areas, and certain forest areas, for example former Christmas tree plantations or stands affected by damage events, are also worth considering. We assess whether a piece of land is suitable free of charge and without obligation, in a personal conversation with you.
As a landowner, you incur no costs. greeNature takes on the entire organisation, from assessing the suitability of the land through drawing up the contract to planning, implementation and the long-term development and management of the measures. You benefit from secure, professional handling with no financial outlay.
There is no fixed minimum size. Tell us the size in m² and we will let you know whether an assessment is worthwhile. Smaller parcels are also of interest if they border existing measure areas or are well located.
It depends on the size of your land in m², its location, and the measures implemented there. We will give you the specific amount after the assessment, in a personal offer.
